I got into pup play because it was reset of a bad kink-dynamic that i had endured in my first gay kink relationship for many years.   As a sub btm i was told that my needs weren't as important as my dom top partner.   I put up with bad behaviour and being "ignored" on a regular basis because I embarrassed his image (of a cigar-toting leatherman) or he was always right because of our D/s dynamic.
